John Daniel
Oiles America Corp., a leader in oil-less, maintenance-free bearing products, has appointed John Daniel as Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Since starting his career 25-plus years ago as a design engineer, Daniel has since advanced to lead global sales and marketing groups in the automotive, energy, aerospace, defense, medical and industrial markets. His product experience includes engineered components, which are used in power train and industrial application.
"My experience across many automotive customers and applications has given me a clear understanding of market direction and aided me in the development of products to meet customers' needs," Daniel said. "I am excited for this opportunity to look strategically at the different markets and identify opportunities to provide solutions that add value to our customers."
In his new role, Daniel will focus his efforts on strategic marketing, business and product development, and reducing costs through innovative product design and lean initiatives to provide a finished design and drive a strong, customer-centric culture.
"John is a strategic and visionary leader with proven success in leading and growing sales through business development and program execution," said Joe Hayashi, President of Oiles America. "He has extensive experience in launching new global products that diversify and grow sales and we are pleased to have him as a member of our leadership team."
Daniel earned his MBA in international finance from the University of St. Francis and holds bachelor's degrees in both mechanical engineering and mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and Bethel College, respectively. Fluent in French, German and Japanese, Daniel also is Lean Green Belt certified and has received Socratic Selling Skills training.
