New Dual Spindle Thread Grinder

Drake Manufacturing will introduce its newest machine tool, the GS:DS Dual Spindle Grinder. The Dual Spindle (DS) machine, complete with automation, will be demonstrated throughout the week.
The GS:DS combines the grinding capabilities of two machines into one. Depending on application, machine can be equipped with two external grind spindles, two internal grind spindles or one of each. This not only eliminates changeover, but also reduces takt time while maintaining tight tolerances. A programmable B-axis allows for the wheel to grind both straight and taper sections in one set-up providing concentricity.
There will be technical presentations offered throughout the show on thread grinding and the latest Drake Technologies. While advanced registration is preferred, attendees can also register for these presentations in the Drake booth.
Drake's team of engineers, sales and technical support specialists will be available to discuss solutions for thread grinding requirements.
