Expanded Line of Universal Flat Bed 2-4 Axis Turning Centers

TUR630M Manual

TUR630SC Servo Conventional

TUR630MN/CNC Manual Plus CNC

Toolmex Lathes, a USA importer for TUR Flat Bed European built lathes, has announced its newest generation of 2-4 axes flat bed Manual Plus CNC turning centers from FAT-Haco. These advanced European lathes, models: TUR560-630-710 SC/MN/PMN/CNC series are designed to increase productivity with lower investment for mid-sized long parts.

Due to its modular design, more choices are available: three levels of technologies, 10" - 16" dia. chucks and longer between centers x 40" - 236" between centers (BC). The unique TRI-V bed way design allows for easier load/unload, greater stability and longer service life. The modular design allows for greater flexibility including: work envelopes, spindle bores, horse powers, turrets to workholding upgrades. Choose from a simple one-step simple cycle (tool room), cycle conversational (machine job shops) and/or typical G-code programming. Meehanite grade castings reduce vibration, hold tighter tolerances and extend the service life of these lathes.

Key TUR560-630-710 flat bed features and benefits:

  • Wide range of capacities, options and technology for larger horizontal parts, up to 20' BC with runs of 1-30 pieces
  • Precision and rigidity with 17" wide TRI-V bed, heavy 2-6 leg support and full length cross slide and saddle design
  • Customized operator programming with choices from one-step simple cycle for manual machinist to 4-axis CAD/CAM
  • New TUR560-710 series offers choice of: 12" - 14.5" - 17" OCS, x 40" -236" BC, 2-4 (X, Z, C and Y) and 4" - 7.5" spindle bores
  • European design, components and quality craftsmanship
  • FANUC 0iTF (G-code programming) control or Siemens 840Dsl (enhanced operator conversational programming)
  • Built with many German components: Siemens CNC, Sauter turrets, Beka lube, SMW Autoblok chucks and steadies.
  • Wider range of options: 2-4 axes, enhanced range BC, QC to 8-station turrets, hydraulic chucks and steadies, oil patch series (dual chucks), auto doors, VDI, stick or Capto tooling, boring bar holders, manual chucks and steadies, etc.
  • Designed for precision and heavy work, robust construction, TUR630 25" x 118" BC ~15,000 lbs.

TUR European 22" - 157" large swing horizontal lathes are designed for demanding industry applications including: power generation, transportation, machinery manufacturing, print, oil and gas, foundry, agriculture, steel and mining.

During IMTS 2018, September 10-15, Toolmex Lathe Group will have several TUR-MN-CNC-SC flat bed lathes on the Toolmex showroom floor in Schaumburg (Chicago area) for demo and immediate delivery. It is currently stocking new TUR lathes: 24" - 37" swings x 118" - 236" BC long bed turning solutions with FANUC or Siemens controls.
