Turn-Key Fiber Laser Systems for Direct Part Marking

Fiber laser marking solutions from Dapra Marking Systems are easily customized to a customer's individual application requirements for part marking and traceability in any manufacturing environment.

"These laser part marking and deep engraving systems offer fast cycle times and precise, repeatable, high-contrast marking of metals (including hardened and stainless steel, anodized aluminum, copper and precious metals), plastics and more," said a Dapra Marking Systems spokesperson. Intuitive software allows for easy logo import, serialization, date coding, Data Matrix codes, UID and UDI syntax and much more.

Dapra offers a wide variety of laser solutions, from turn-key Class 1 workstations with safety enclosures to open-style Class 4 configurations and fully integrated systems. Its flexible core product offerings can be tailored to a customer's requirements. Options include:

  • Industrial fiber and DPSS laser sources from 3-100 watts, with choice of lens and power source
  • Manual or power programmable Z-axis with 12" of standard travel; custom travel lengths available
  • Rotary D-axis for marking round parts up to 22 lbs. (standard)
  • Industrial fume extractors.

Dapra will also show the Portable Pneumatic Systems for Deep Part Marking. The Sitel MK3 X50 is a portable, pneumatically actuated machine for very deep part marking. This hand-held model is easily transportable to mark large, heavy components. It is suited for marking parts that have been painted over, and metals that will be subjected to surface treatments (varnishing, sandblasting and galvanizing), such as frames, tanks, pipes and heavy structures.
