EZset LLC Names Hi-Speed Corp. Exclusive West Coast Manufacturer's Representative

Four different models of EZset presetters are available so shops can select the right level of technology to start improving production efficiencies.

EZset LLC has named Hi-Speed Corp. as the exclusive West Coast manufacturer's representative for its high-precision, German-built line of tool presetting machines. Hi-Speed has representatives available to assist machining customers with any presetting needs throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho and Montana.

EZset tool presetting machines use an advanced vision system and image-processing software to measure cutting tools in order to meet highly accurate machining needs. "The results for manufacturing organizations are a notable rise in final-part quality and process efficiency, including extended tool life," said an EZset spokesperson. Four models are available with a variety of measurement ranges and image-processing variations: ICbasic, IC1, IC2 and IC3.

"The Hi-Speed Corp. sales team has already completed their factory training and are working with customers to help them achieve cost savings and productivity goals by measuring tools offline and maximizing production time on their machine tools," said Harold Wall, Hi-Speed Corp. General Manager.

Ian Haase, Product Manager for EZset LLC, added, "The more tool changes a shop performs, the more productivity it can expect to attain using EZset presetters. Machine downtime is minimized and part output is maximized as tools for the machining center's next job are preset, measured and ready to be loaded prior to the completion of the current job. EZset tool presetters are made in Germany and feature components such as Heidenhain glass scales, Bosch pneumatics and THK guides."
