Enterprise Barcode Labeling System Streamlines Workflows

TEKLYNX International, a developer of barcode labeling software, has implemented a system for Zatkoff Seals & Packings that has helped the company adapt to changing customer requirements.

Zatkoff, a large independent distributor of seals, creates nearly 200,000 unique parts that are used around the world and has extensive customization requirements for its product packaging. A new TEKLYNX barcode labeling case study describes Zatkoff's implementation of TEKLYNX CENTRAL, which has helped the company accelerate time-to-market by creating enhanced efficiencies within its production and packaging processes. Zatkoff has also experienced a 50% reduction in training time for new users, allowing the company to onboard resources quickly and efficiently with little impact on production.

"As a customer-focused company, being able to adapt to our clients' requirements and meet their needs is critical," said James Kogut of Zatkoff Seals & Packings. "We want to make sure we have exactly what they need when they ask for it - and TEKLYNX CENTRAL makes that happen. The flexibility of the enterprise barcode labeling solution helps us make adjustments on-the-fly while still enforcing the rules."

TEKLYNX CENTRAL easily integrates into a company's existing business processes and can work with a wide range of database structures, from homegrown applications to widely used Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Zatkoff chose TEKLYNX CENTRAL based on its longstanding use of LABELVIEW, which was used to manage barcode label design and printing. Its growing number of label templates and expanded print facilities required a more robust labeling solution with centralized administration features to manage the increased complexity of their production environment. "The TEKLYNX team worked to seamlessly transition Zatkoff to the new solution, where they could leverage extensive out-of-the-box functionality with minor configuration to integrate with their highly customized internal systems," said a company spokesperson. "This integration has significantly reduced labeling errors for Zatkoff's production team."

"Zatkoff is just one example of a TEKLYNX client who has been able to leverage our tiered product offering as their needs change," said Laura Henderson, General Manager of TEKLYNX. "We are dedicated to creating solutions that help businesses at any stage, from smaller firms to enterprise organizations. As a company's needs evolve, our solutions evolve along with them."
