Three-axis Programmable Heavy-Load Ergonomic Work Positioner

The Ergo Control programmable work positioner from Ergotech Inc. is designed to empower manufacturers of heavy weight end products to optimize their work floor safety, productivity and workflow processes. The Ergo Control offers workpiece handling for a variety of work applications, including heavy, large or awkwardly shaped objects, weighing up to 13,200 lbs.

"The Ergo Control positioner's 3-axis design allows users/operators to always find a comfortable, safe work position and to have maximum control and balance over their work inputs," said a company spokesperson. "It eliminates both drops and awkward or off-balance work positions, which can lead to accidents, strains and repetitive stress injuries. Repositioning large, heavy work product is easy, repeatable and programmable, eliminating unnecessary lost work time with cranes, pulleys or other mechanisms. This optimizes work sequence efficiency and output, which leads to strong return on investment."

Programmed and operated by a foot pedal, or optionally by hand pendant, it features a teach-in programmable control system, which requires no prior programming skills and can store over 1,000 work sequences or production runs.

The Ergo Control family of programmable positioners is available in six standard load classes capable of manipulating 330, 660, 1,650, 3,300, 6,600 or 13,200 lb. loads. All Ergotech products are made in the USA.
