AutoCrib, Inc., a manufacturer of automated inventory vending systems, has acquired the Small Parts Storage System (SPSS) technology assets and products from Lauyans & Company, an engineering and manufacturing company providing conveyor systems, storage systems and permanent magnet products. This strategic acquisition will enable AutoCrib to integrate Lauyans' vertical storage solutions into its own product suite and support the company's growth into the direct materials segment of the manufacturing industry.
Under the agreement, AutoCrib will procure all solutions and technology of Lauyans' SPSS, a vertical lift module technology. These will help round out AutoCrib's current offerings, which, according to the company, deliver automated inventory vending support to customers including manufacturing companies, airlines, military, retailers, distributors and others who want to provide 24/7 access to inventory while maintaining complete control and inventory accuracy.
"Since its founding in 1994, AutoCrib has placed a priority on pioneering technology and delivering innovative, dependable industrial vending solutions at a competitive price," said Steve Pixley, President and Founder of AutoCrib, Inc. "The strategic acquisition of technology assets and solutions from Lauyans & Company will enable AutoCrib to continue its tradition of excellence. We will continue to provide turnkey solutions that include software, machines configuration and set-up, training, integration to manage inventory in real time, as well as ongoing service and support."
Lauyans will maintain operation of its three other product categories: Engineered Product Solutions, Overhead Conveyor Solutions and Permanent Magnet Solutions.
