CS Unitec's surface finishing tools are designed for grinding, sanding and polishing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Powered by Eisenblatter, the upgraded PTX Eco Smart professional linear grinder produces up to a mirror finish on stainless steel and other metals. PTX Eco Smart
CS Unitec's improved PTX Eco Smart Professional Surface Finisher is designed with a more powerful motor for producing matte, satin and other fine surfaces up to a mirror finish on steel, stainless steel and nonferrous metals. The tool's high torque, 1,710 watt, 15.5 amp motor makes the PTX Eco Smart useful for coarse grinding jobs such as removing welds, deep scratches, oxidation, rust and paint. It can also polish inside corners. Variable speed control from 1,000 to 3,800 RPM with tachogenerator is designed to provide constant speed, even under load. The handle is adjustable for right- and left-handed users.
The PTX Eco Smart has a patented abrasive mounting system designed to save time, reduce costs and eliminate vibration. According to the company, this system allows grinding and polishing wheels to be changed in seconds, without tools or hardware. The hollow-core abrasive wheel slides onto the PTX Eco Smart's finned, rigid rubber shaft. It then secures itself automatically when the machine turns. The finned shaft of this finisher is designed to make it vibration-free during operations and help ensure 100% concentricity. A wide selection of hollow-core abrasives is available for this linear grinder.
PIPE-SNIPER
CS Unitec's PIPE-SNIPER is an all-around polishing product for handrails, pipe and tubing. From rough grinding to a mirror finish, this 1,600 Watt, 110 V pipe belt grinder finishes stainless steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The tool's design allows for 360 machining of pipes up to 3-1/2" diameter from a single working position by rotating the tool. Stretched over two flexible guide rollers that are controlled by a lever, the grinding belt fits securely over the pipe, continuously encircling two-thirds its diameter. Gas pressure shock absorbers are designed to provide constant pressure so the belt remains tight even if the machine is raised or lowered.
The PIPE-SNIPER features a ventilation system on the drive motor that directs intake air to the head of the machine, cooling the motor to prolong the life of the tool and steering dust away from the operator. The bow handle is designed to ensure uniform grinding in every working position, even when machining corner areas and narrow spaces. Speed is infinitely adjustable from 1,000 to 3,800 RPM. Set speeds are kept constant, even under load through the tachogenerator. CS Unitec offers grinding belts in 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit and non-woven fleece belts for polishing applications. Belts are interchangeable between the PIPE-SNIPER, GLADIUS and CS Unitec's PIPE-MAX pipe-belt grinder.
Gladius 1800 Multifunctional Grinder
The Gladius 1800 will grind, debur, blend and polish ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood and plastic. The narrow arm makes it useful for hard-to-reach areas such as corners, angles and tight spaces. It features infinitely adjustable speed control from 1,000 to 3,800 RPM, with a tachogenerator that provides constant speed, even under load. The tool's design allows it to use the full length of both sides of the arm for smooth grinding, blending and polishing.
CS Unitec offers an assortment of abrasive belts and polishing fleece for the Gladius 1800. Sanding belts can be changed quickly without tools. Belts are interchangeable between the PIPE-SNIPER, GLADIUS and CS Unitec's PIPE-MAX pipe-belt grinder. An integrated dust extraction port enables dust-free sanding when connected to an industrial vacuum. A rubberized, bow-shaped handle is designed to help ensure ergonomic, slip-proof operation.
Accessories for the Gladius 1800 include a dust protection kit to prevent dust and dirt particles from penetrating the inner core of the machine. A stand is available to convert the tool into a bench-mounted grinder for precision grinding and polishing.
