New Free, Searchable 3D Printing Database
May 1, 2015
Senvol has launched its new database for additive manufacturing machines and materials. "Given the rapid growth of the industrial additive manufacturing (i.e., 3D printing) industry, it has become increasingly difficult to keep track of all of the machines and materials that are on the market," said a company spokesperson. "We have solved this problem with our free, searchable database www.senvol.com/database." Users are able to search the database by more than 30 fields such as machine build size, material type and material tensile strength."We are excited about the Senvol database because it is a useful tool for everyone in the additive manufacturing industry," said Senvol Co-President Zach Simkin. "There has been a growing need for a tool like this, and we are pleased to provide the industry with a solution."
According to the company, the Senvol database is used by a wide range of people - from potential machine buyers who want to see what machines are on the market to engineers who want to search for materials by specific material properties.
"Senvol values input and feedback from its user community," said Senvol Co-President Annie Wang. "Anytime users have a comment, suggestion or idea, they are encouraged to email database@senvol.com. It is through our user community that we are able to continuously improve the Senvol database."
Senvol is a services firm that conducts analytics exclusively for the additive manufacturing industry.
