DT20 DoveTail Vise for Aggressive 5-Axis Machining
Kurt's new DoveTail Vise is a 5-axis dovetail design that provides up to 4,000 lbs. of precision clamping force without distorting the workpiece. The DT20 DoveTail has a 1/2" movable jaw stroke that allows precise raw stock clamping with less material prep for fast positioning in the vise jaws. It is 2" wide and handles part DoveTail widths from 1.375" to 1.800" and is constructed of 4140 alloy steel.
KTR35 Tool Room Vise for Small Machines
Kurt's new KTR35 Tool Room Vise is designed for tool room, knee mill applications and use on smaller CNC machining tables. With up to 5,000 lbs. of precision clamping force, the KTR35 Tool Room with its special design features gives the machinist more clamping options than previous standard vises. It features predrilled sine holes for use with a receiver vise to achieve 30°, 45° and 60° angle settings.
Sidewinder SDW35 Vise Fits 6" and 8" Vises
Kurt's new Sidewinder SDW35 Vise is 3.5" wide and designed for mounting to the back of 6" and 8" single station vises. It has an increased 4" wide jaw opening, with up to 5,000 lbs. of clamping force, and provides vertical workholding for second operation machining in the same set-up.
Four New 3800 Series Vises
Kurt's VersatileLock Vises feature a one-piece body and stationary jaw design. They are built to provide precise 0.0005" part clamping repeatability. This VersatileLock Vise model is available in four 8" vise models that have a 10" jaw opening. The new models are Manual Standard, Manual Reverse, Hydraulic Standard and Hydraulic Reverse.
