Heavy-Duty Machine Tools
August 1, 2014
FEMCO, Inc., a manufacturer of CNC machine tools, will demonstrate its products at IMTS. The HL-55/2000, FEMCO's heavy-duty box way CNC lathe will be emulating a production wheel turning cell integrated with a FANUC Robot.
In addition, the FEMCO HL-35DMSY multi axis CNC lathe equipped with a sub-spindle, Y-axis, C-axis and a 23-station, live tool dual-disk turret will demonstrate its versatility to machine complex parts efficiently and accurately. Also being demonstrated will be the HL-25DM CNC lathe equipped with a C-axis and a 23-station, live tool dual-disk turret allowing for quick setups and fast tool change times.
The BMC110R2 boring mill equipped with a full fourth axis rotary table and a 60-station automatic tool changer will demonstrate its multi-sided machining capabilities designed to eliminate costly setups.
The BMC-110R2 comes standard with a 50 taper, 35 HP geared head spindle, linear scales on X-, Y- and Z-axis and FANUC CNC control. The W-axis stroke is 19.69" and has a diameter of 4.33". Optional accessories are a chip conveyor, 60 or 90-station tool changer, through spindle coolant system and a full 4th axis table.
Specifications of the BMC-110R2:
- 78.74" table cross travel (X)
- 70.87" headstock travel (Y)
- 66.93" table longitudinal travel (Z)
- 56.69" x 62.99" table size
