High-Speed and Multi-Function Machine Tools

CHIRON America Inc. and its CHIRON Group affiliates, STAMA and Scherer Feinbau, will showcase high-speed, efficient machine tools. According to a spokesperson, the three brands each possess their own expertise and unique capabilities, but all focus on manufacturing efficiency.
Featured machines include the following:
- The CHIRON FZ12 MT features simultaneous, high-speed milling and turning. A swivel head, turning spindle, tool revolver and opposed spindle enable complete machining from bar in a single process.
- CHIRON DZ15 W Magnum, part of the versatile 15 Series Magnum, has two spindles and a workpiece changing device that allow loading and unloading during machining. According to the company, it is fully configured for maximum productivity.
- The STAMA MC 538 Twin is a heavy-duty, multi-spindle HSK-A100 machining center designed for manufacturing large and challenging components with ease. According to the company, it features a high concentration of power within a small footprint.
- The Scherer Feinbau VDZ 220 is designed to be multi-functional, flexible and customer focused while offering high stability.
