Workholding Product Line

Modern Industries offers its mPower product line of workholding solutions. The mPower line includes the SpeedLoc precision mounting system, ModLoc modular tooling columns and SpinLoc indexers. Also available is the SpinSelect multi-pocket selectable toolholder.
The SpeedLoc locator/fastener system is designed to provide accurate assembly and disassembly and allows for a variety of configurations of ModLoc columns.
The ModLoc system is assembled using Modern's SpeedLoc locator/fastener system. ModLoc tooling columns have a strong exterior structure. The manifold and support brackets securely connect with the fixture plates to form an integrated, rigid structure.
SpinSelect's design allows for quick indexing between its five pockets with a one-quarter turn of a socket head cap screw. Each pocket can house a different tool, allowing for quick changes between operations without having to requalify the tools. "It excels at cutting harder materials. The pockets are 30% stronger than traditional shank tools, allowing more rigid tools to be loaded," said a company spokesperson.
