CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies will feature at IMTS 2016 rotary tables from TJR Precision Technology, TRACER bar feeders and bar loaders and AUTOLOAD Gantry Parts Loading Systems.
TJR Rotary Tables
CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies has entered into a new partnership with TJR Precision Technology from Taiwan. TJR, or Tan Jia Precision Technology, is a well-established supplier of rotary tables to machine tool OEMs such as Okuma, Doosan, DMG MORI, Mazak and Tongtai.
"The new partnership allows us to supply the most technically advanced rotary tables in the industry, with special emphasis on direct drive and 5c collet 4th axis series units," said Steve Smith, President of CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies.
The rotary tables are built with high quality features such as an anti-wearing worm gear and shaft made of high tensile brass for durability. Further, encircling braking systems use a large clamping range to prevent displacement during heavy-duty cutting. For tilt rotary tables, TJR offers a 2+1 independent braking system and large diameter radial and axial preloaded bearings for rigid support during 4th and 5th axis cutting on both single and dual arm rotary tables.
TRACER Minibar Hydrodynamic Magazine Bar Feeder
The new TRACER Minibar Hydrodynamic Magazine Bar Feeder is able to feed bar diameters from 0.8 mm to 12 mm and up to 10' in length. It can be utilized by customers with fixed headstock and Swiss-type CNC lathes who need to feed large quantities of small bar stock for quantifiable production runs. Variable bar stock sizes, guide channel sets and torque force and speed are easily adjustable.
TRACER Vs-105XL Automatic Bar Loader
The TRACER Vs-105XL bar loader, designed for heavy bars, can handle up to 4-1/8" diameter bars up to 72" long. The bar loader's magazine rack has a maximum capacity of five bars at 4-1/8" (105 mm) diameter. The patented external LED light bar provides a visual status of pusher position, amount of bar remaining, notification of last bar and flashing notification of machine or bar feeder alarms.
The operator-friendly HMI display system is touchscreen and contains automatic system settings and a moveable hand-held remote controller for convenience during operation. The quick-change pusher is easily changed manually without tools. A top-cut optical sensor precisely measures each bar's length and automatically adjusts. The standard rail retract system allows the bar loader to move back and away from the CNC lathe at a 45° angle for convenient spindle liner changes and access to the machine's headstock area for ease of maintenance. The Vs-105XL's PLC control is fully functional with comprehensive data bank software and interfaces with any CNC lathe.
AUTOLOAD Gantry Parts Loading System
The new AUTOLOAD Gantry Loading System is designed to provide automated parts loading for new and existing CNC lathes. AUTOLOAD Gantry Loading Systems come in various sizes with single or twin arm gantries. The loading area is guarded with a light curtain or safety door to ensure operator protection. Loader stations come in either stocker or pallet-style loading and unloading with optional inbound/outbound conveyor and flip over station.
Accessories include a servo-driven B-axis on the gripper that can rotate 0-360° and was specifically designed for easy and fast loading of twin spindle lathes. All models come with a pneumatically operated gripper driven by a rotary cylinder. The gripper's rotating angle is 180° (without a B-axis).
