Morris South, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will display and demonstrate CNC machine tools from Okuma, Tsugami and Hardinge Group in its 1,600 square-foot booth at SOUTH-TEC, October 27-29 at the Charlotte Convention Center. In addition to CNC machinery, the regional machine tool distributor supplies tooling, accessories, software and customer support services to manufacturers in North Carolina, South Carolina and several other Southeast states.
"Morris South has been an exhibitor at SOUTH-TEC for decades," said Kevin Wigington, President of Morris South. "This year, our participation in SOUTH-TEC has special meaning for us as we celebrate 35 years of business."
"Since its start as Machine Tool Systems, Morris South has continuously represented Tsugami and Okuma," adds Keith Wilson, Vice President of Sales, Morris South/Charlotte. "Our booth at SOUTH-TEC is going to have some stand-out demos that would not be possible without the collaboration of our longtime machine tool partners."
Demonstration models include an Okuma multifunction machine; the new 20 mm Tsugami LaserSwiss; the versatile chucker convertible 32 mm Tsugami B0326-II; the new, high-performance Bridgeport V1000 VMC and the Okuma MB5000-H high production, automation-ready horizontal machining center.
Visitors to Morris South's booth, number 1405, can expect to see live laser cutting on the Tsugami LaserSwiss and view some of the powerful apps free from the Okuma APP Store for use on Okuma machines and the Okuma THINC-OSP control.
