Preventative Maintenance Plan Available for Machining Centers

Matsuura Machinery USA, a manufacturer of automated, unmanned CNC machine tools, offers its preventative maintenance plan for U.S. customers. "Matsuura machining centers are rugged and very dependable, but they do require routine maintenance to run at their optimum efficiency," said a Matsuura Machinery USA spokesperson.

The Matsuura Machinery USA Preventative Maintenance Plan is now available on all Matsuura machining centers. Matsuura Machinery USA Preventative Maintenance Kits are currently available for the following models: H.PLUS-630, H.PLUS-405, H.PLUS-300, MX-520, MAM72-100, MAM72-63, MAM72-35, CUBLEX-35, CUBLEX-63, VX-1000 and VX-1500; additional model maintenance kits can be produced as requested. The kits include items such as filters, lube/grease packs and silica beads for air dryers.

"Matsuura Machinery USA certified service engineers can perform required maintenance on all Matsuura CNC machines," said the spokesperson. "Service engineers can also provide training and facilitate a planned preventative maintenance program for Matsuura machine tools.

"The preventative maintenance program for Matsuura machine tools includes a proactive method to clean, examine and replace components on a routine schedule. Studies have proven that reactive maintenance programs cost shops, on average, 12-18% more than a scheduled preventative maintenance program.

"Matsuura Machinery USA recommends that shops perform the standard examinations and service that a machine requires to avoid costly repairs, preventable downtime and decreased production."
