Cycle Controlled Lathes to be Exhibited at WMTS
October 6, 2015WEILER and Weller Machinery will be demonstrating the E-50 and E-80 cycle controlled lathes at WMTS, Weller Machinery booth 1145.
The E-80 is suitable for high productivity applications with a high chip removal rate for turning lengths up to 236” (6 m) and spindle bores up to 8.5” (216 mm). “The E-80 has a state-of-the-art control and drive technology, is extremely accurate, powerful and energy efficient,” said a company spokesperson.
“The E-50 is a powerful universal lathe with optimum accessibility for demanding turning,” said a company spokesperson. “It is a suitable choice for high turning performance in areas such as production, tool making as well as repair and maintenance.”
The WEILER lathes are capable of operating in a programmable mode as well as a manual mode.
