Busche Avilla continues to bring in new business. Recently representatives from General Aluminum, a part of Park Ohio Holdings, were on hand to kick off the KL Jeep Cherokee right and left hand knuckles and control arm programs for the all wheel, front wheel and off road knuckle assemblies.
A visit from FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) supplier Quality team followed the General Aluminum and Park Ohio visit on July 17 with approval on the control arm lines. The General Aluminum/Chrysler product coupled with a new Honda Civic knuckle line will require thirty-five (35) CNC machining centers including assembly processing equipment. Total manpower will exceed 100 employees putting the Busche Avilla Plant 11 at near capacity in just six (6) short months from the purchase of the facility earlier this year. Hiring is expected to be strong through the fall.
