Servo Feed Control Technology to be Demonstrated at FABTECH

Dallas Industries, a leading manufacturer of press feed equipment, will exhibit a zig-zag servo feed featuring its ProfileSelect with press compensation servo feed technology at FABTECH in Booth S-4208, November 9-11, 2015, Chicago. The feed control technology features three modes of operation in one control package. The control provides time-based servo feed synchronization and auto compensation for on-the-fly increases in press speed. The unique ProfileSelect, which is part of the DallasSmart Controls technology, also minimizes electrical and mechanical stress on stamping equipment and materials.
ProfileSelect uses a sinusoidal profile, (cam motion) providing a smooth motion and material feed, utilizing 100% of the press feed window while putting less stress on all mechanics. ProfileSelect is suited for running cosmetic and/or delicate materials.
The company will also feature upgrade packages that make existing press feed equipment more efficient.
