Featured Ironworkers to Include 50-Ton Turret and 95-Ton Dual Operator

Scotchman will demonstrate select pieces of its metal fabricating solutions at WESTEC Booth 2211. Scotchman will feature two of its ironworkers: the 50-ton turret (5014 TM) and the 95-ton dual operator (DO 95).

"The 5014 TM offers a three-station revolving turret, which accepts up to three pieces of tooling that can be changed in seconds," said a company spokesperson. The machine has 50 tons of pressure and can punch a 13/16" hole in 3/4" plate. Standard features include angle shear, flat bar shear and a rectangle notcher. The dual operator machine has a hydraulic system designed with two pumps to ensure both operations have full hydraulic pressure and speed, complete with two valves, two stroke controls and two remote foot pedals.

The DO 95 has a 95-ton capacity punch and a 9" throat depth, which can punch a 1-3/16" hole in 1" material. "The DO 95 complements Scotchman's existing dual operator machine line, which consists of dual operator ironworkers with punch capacity ranging from 70 to 150 ton," said the spokesperson. "All Scotchman ironworkers are American made and backed by a three-year warranty."

Scotchman's manual CPO 350 saw and a newly added non-ferrous upcut saw, the SUP 500 NF, will represent Scotchman's Cold Saw line. "The American-made CPO 350 manual Circular Cold Saw - which features a double clamping and self-centering vise that provides burr-free, high-quality volume parts - will benefit any shop," said the spokesperson. "Scotchman's new SUP-500 NF is an Upcut Circular Cold Saw designed specifically for cutting non-ferrous material. Featuring a 20-inch carbide blade that is capable of producing round cuts up to 7 inches in diameter and rectangular cuts up to 11.75 x 5 inches, this upcut saw offers an increased cutting capacity not found in similar Scotchman models."
