Versatile JetMachining Center
April 1, 2015
OMAX Corporation offers its high-speed MAXIEM 1530 JetMachining Center. The all-new 1530 represents the company's next generation line of MAXIEM machines.
"The newly redesigned 1530 offers enhanced durability, improved performance and faster production times for an overall increase in productivity and profitability," said a company spokesperson. Utilizing the 40-HP direct-drive pump and optional A-Jet multi-axis cutting head the machine is capable of cutting beveled edges, angled sides and countersinks. The A-Jet cutting head also compensates for taper and creates 3D complex shapes.
The machine features updated digital linear encoders, an innovative Z-axis core with optional multi-axis cutting heads and a low ceiling height, along with several additional machine enhancements, including streamlined abrasive hopper designs and self-leveling base legs.
The latest MAXIEM 1530 machine comes with a 50,000 PSI pump that features Variable Frequency Drive technology for precise cutting pressure control. "The pump delivers more cutting power per kilowatt than intensifier-type pumps," said a company spokesperson.
The machine's Windows 8 controller comes pre-loaded with the powerful Intelli-MAX Software Suite and features a 23-inch display screen for easy viewing of part files and tool paths. "The software makes it easy for operators to generate complex geometries and produce quality parts from virtually any type of material. The software also features Intelli-VISOR system monitoring for predictable machine maintenance capability," said the spokesperson.
