Threadless Cable Gland Designed for Assembly without Any Tools

HELUKABEL, a cable manufacturer, has introduced the HELUTOP Easy, a cable gland technology that is designed to quickly relieve stress and strain on cables. "Using a patented spring/snap system, the HELUTOP Easy allows for easy installation in hard-to-reach areas and spaces with no access for locknuts," said a company spokesperson.
"Assembly using HELUKABEL's newest cable gland is simple - push the cable gland in and turn clockwise - and can be done by hand," continued the spokesperson. "Fastening the gland in this manner achieves the same tight fit compared to traditional glands held in place with locknuts. No tools are required for installation, but disassembly requires the use of a special tool that will not cause damage to the cable gland.
"Due to improved installation times and making conventional fastening techniques like threaded holes and locknuts unnecessary, the HELUTOP Easy offers substantial cost savings," said the spokesperson.
The HELUTOP Easy is currently available in plastic and comes in sizes Ø16 and Ø20 (corresponds to M16 and M20). "Additional sizes including Ø25 and Ø32 are coming soon," said the spokesperson.
