ZONE3 SnapShot Full-Field Image Processing captures 16 features simultaneously.
Optical Gaging Products (OGP) division of Quality Vision International (QVI) introduces a series of productivity enhancement tools in the latest version of ZONE3 CAD-based metrology software. ZONE3 is available for OGP's SmartScope family of multisensor dimensional measurement systems.
ZONE3 features automatic optimization of measurement routines. With this new feature, users can program or write a measurement routine in any way that is most convenient. With a press of the Auto Optimize button, ZONE3 automatically restructures the routine for maximum efficiency of data acquisition and sensor management. Auto Optimizing modifies the order of steps in the routine and refines the sensor paths for the most efficient sequencing, improving routine run times.
ZONE3 also features SnapShot Full-Field Image Processing. SnapShot simultaneously captures and measures all features within a video field of view. SnapShot speeds video measurements by eliminating unnecessary stage movement and sequential image acquisition. According to OGP, when used in conjunction with Auto Optimization, SnapShot significantly improves run time and throughput - by as much as 500%.
