Iscar's Chameleon line now offers larger diameter ranges from 1.3" - 1.57". The CHAMIQDRILL 700 line employs a new insert positioning and locking mechanism. This feature eliminates the need for clamps or screws commonly found on drills for larger diameters.
"The unique design of the CHAMIQDRILL allows for easy index on the machine to reduce set-up downtime. The cutting edge geometry provides a mechanically efficient cutting action reducing power consumption, noise and increasing material removal rates," said a company spokesperson. The new generation clamping mechanism provides insert security and long body life.
