Expanded Line of Tooling for Swiss-Style Machines, Automatic Lathes
April 1, 2015
Carmex Precision Tools will highlight its line of tooling for Swiss-style machines and automatic lathes at EASTEC 2015. The display will also include a selection of thread milling tools and toolholders, including the recently introduced mini spiral mill-thread that is available in several sizes. The Swiss line includes tools for thread turning and chamfering, finishing, parting, grooving and deep grooving, and special geometries. Constructed of advanced submicron grade carbide (K10-K30), as well as PVD triple coating, the Swiss line is designed for high wear and resistance in materials including stainless steels, Titanium and super alloys.
"For over 25 years, Carmex has provided convention and specialty thread milling," said Jeff Dei, President of Carmex USA. "As Swiss-style machining has become more popular among manufacturers and job shops, we have continually added to our product line to include such specialties as deep grooving and thread whirling. Due to our continual development of better substrates and coatings, we can offer customers tools that deliver high precision as well as long life."
