New Cutter and Insert Series

LOVEJOY Tool Company, Inc. will feature the new MaxCut 651 cutters. According to the company, a new chip gullet design combined with thick inserts (.250") for continuous heavy-duty work results in high metal removal rates.
The inserts feature a 45° lead angle for free cutting, easier part entry and enhanced corner strength. They are available in medium pitch configurations for general machining and fine pitch for short chip materials such as cast iron.
"The 16 cutting edges assure greater production at lower cost," said a company spokesperson. "The cutter bodies feature a new insert adjusting station allowing for faster, more accurate insert positioning, resulting in enhanced cutting efficiency."
The 651 series cutters are available in 3" diameter and up.
