The Aria Group, a rapid prototyping and manufacturing firm, recently purchased one node-lock PSC seat for machining including various other modules and a Virtual Machine from Tebis America.
The Aria Group provides a full range of design, engineering and manufacturing solutions for industries such as transportation, aerospace and entertainment. "Aria has nearly 20 years of expertise combining the latest advances in rapid manufacturing technology, with innovative design and creative engineering to produce advanced and complex projects," said a company spokesperson.
With facilities in Irvine, CA, and Traverse City, MI, the Aria Group provides CAD and digital modeling services, 3- and 5-axis CNC machining, clean room for advanced composite fabrication, Class A paint facilities, a full metal fabrication machine shop, hard modeling and clay modeling studios. The Tebis seat will currently be housed in the company's Traverse City operation.
Tebis America, part of Tebis AG, Munich, Germany, develops CAD/CAM systems for tool, die and mold manufacturing, primarily for automobile and aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors from the styling, model making, tool and mold manufacturing sectors. The company supplies turn-key installations and also provides a full suite of 40 software modules.
