Doosan Infracore America Machine Tools (DIA) awarded Phoenix Machine Tools of Michigan as its Top Performer in the Midwest Region during its 21st Annual Distributor Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Cancun Resort, February 21, 2015.
Accepting the award for Phoenix Machinery was Pete DeSilva. Presenting the award was H.E. Ahn, CEO of Doosan Infracore America.
"Phoenix Machine Tools was a major contributor to DIA's record year in machine sales for 2014," noted Mr. Ahn. "Michigan is a key market, and the team at Phoenix does an excellent job in supporting their customers with optimal solutions and superior customer support."
Additional awards handed out by Andrew McNamara, Director of Sales, and Tom Klukow, Marketing and Regional Sales Manager, included the 2014 Special Recognition Award for the Midwest, which went to Rick Boedeker of Technical Machinery; and a Century Award (for selling over 100 machines), which went to Lou Olson of Technical Equipment Sales. In addition, Phoenix Machine Tools received an award for Growth is Parts Sales as well as an award for Outstanding Sales Performance. Technical Machinery also received an award for Outstanding Sales Performance.
