Two New Spindles and Micro Line Spindles

IBAG North America will feature new high-speed spindles. The HF 230 spindle, featuring 160 HP at 30,000 RPM, utilizes HSK 63 tooling system and is designed for aircraft and automotive applications. The HF 45 high-speed spindle offers 170,000 RPM for cutting and grinding work in micro and nano manufacturing in medical, R&D applications and more.

Also on display will be the Micro Line compact and high-speed spindles designed to fit more Swiss turning machines. They are offered in spindle sizes of 16 to 33 mm diameter, speeds to 120,000 RPM and power to 390 watts.

In addition, IBAG now offers a micro collet system that offers accuracies of one micron T.I.R at the collet nose and handles up to 1/8" tool diameter. "Equipped for use with 22, 25 and 33 mm IBAG Micro Line high-speed spindles, including back working and right angle models, users can now achieve higher accuracies for precision milling and ultra small drilling applications," said a company spokesperson.

The booth will also feature Witte vacuum workholding chucks, pumps and accessories - including circular grid vacuum chucks designed to provide accurate and secure workholding for metal, graphite, ceramics, plastic and exotic alloys - in standard and custom designs.
