New Taps Offer Optimized Geometry

The Powertap family of taps is now available from Guhring. "With development of state-of-the-art machines and the building of a new plant designed with the sole purpose of high-production runs, Guhring now offers Powertap," said a company spokesperson. "Manufactured from premium HSS-E substrates and precision ground on specially developed machines, this tap family has an optimized geometry for maximum performance in a wide scope of materials."
According to the company, Powertap is suitable for users who require a UNC, UNF, M or MF tap to ANSI or DIN standards.
