JTEKT Toyoda Americas Corporation, a machine tool builder for North, South and Latin Americas, hosted its 2017 International Sales Meeting on February 9 and 10 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
During the conference, Toyoda sales and distribution representatives from each region discussed innovation in product and service development throughout 2016. Presentations recapped the current year's ongoing market activity to better forecast future growths of Toyoda products. Focal points for the upcoming year included:
- High-speed synchronization technology on Toyoda's new GS Series multitasking machine with gear skiving features
- The redesigned GE3i and GL4i heavy-duty grinding machines for applications like valves, gears and shafts
- Toyoda's next generation of STEALTH vertical and bridge machines for economical manufacturing solutions
- Launch of the UA2090Ti 5-axis model built for the aerospace market.
Toyoda presented Network Machinery, Inc. with the 2016-17 Grinding Machine Distributor of the Year award and State Machine Tool Co. Inc. with both 2016-17 Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers Distributor of the Year award.
