Boker's 2017 Stampings Brochure is Now Available

Boker's has announced its 2017 Stampings Brochure is now available. Serving as an industry resource, the brochure provides a comprehensive overview of the company's stamping capabilities. With nearly 100 years of experience in precision metal stamping production, Boker's satisfies complex, intricate stamping applications.

Designed as a quick-reference tool, the Stampings Brochure contains a glossary of more than 100 common terms and a base element index, as well as a gauge decimal equivalents chart. It also features Boker's special programs to enhance product quality and customer convenience, including Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.), which verifies that manufacturing processes are efficient and effective. The brochure also details Boker's Dock-to-Stock and Just-in-Time programs that accommodate flexible and diverse delivery requirements.

The brochure highlights Boker's extensive custom stamping capabilities in a complete range of sizes including:

  • Flat blanking and piercing up to 12" x 12"
  • Metal forming in thicknesses from 0.005" to 0.134"
  • Draws up to 3" deep and 8" in diameter

To meet user's exact specifications, Boker's offers 2,000 commonly specified and hard-to-find material options as well as secondary machining operations including deburring, tapping, reaming, counterboring, spotfacing and more.

Boker's now offers additive manufacturing (3-D printing) to provide users with 3-D prototypes. Utilizing a Stratasys 3-D printer, Boker's takes the guesswork out of customized products and allows customers to test parts for form, fit and function prior to the production of an actual stamped part.

Also new to this year's brochure is information on edge conditions for stampings and washers; this illustration is designed to educate clientele on the normal by-products of the blanking and piercing processes. The brochure now helps customers determine if the stamping process is acceptable for their needs.
