Hydraulically Actuated Clamping Tool Holders and More

GenSwiss Industries, a Swiss machine tooling manufacturer and provider, will showcase several new offerings at IMTS 2022. New products include GenGrip Hydraulically Actuated Clamping Tool Holders and Signature Series Collets and Guide Bushings.
The GenGrip line provides accurate toolholding by employing a quick-clamping hydraulic mechanism capable of keeping drill and boring bar shanks within 0.00004" total runout. This is optimal for holding small-diameter drills, gun drills and precision boring bars. Hydraulic clamping is activated from the front or rear of the tool block with a T-handle hex key. This provides a safe way to change tools by keeping hands away from dangerous components during positioning.
GenSwiss Signature Series Collets and Guide Bushings provide stock material with increased stability for better results. "Available for major machine models including Star, Citizen, Tornos and Tsugami, GenSwiss Signature Series Collets and Guide Bushings enable operators to create complex parts accurately and precisely while increasing productivity by reducing cycle times. Operators can minimize the risk of error in their runs by giving the stock material the support that it needs," said a company spokesperson.
