RINGSPANN Corporation Adds Workholding Product Manager

RINGSPANN Corporation has expanded its precision workholding solutions within North America. To facilitate this expansion, RINGSPANN has added Joe Thompson as Workholding Product Manager for North America.
Established in 1944, RINGSPANN is a privately held, family-owned business headquartered in Bad Homburg, Germany, that offers precision workholding solutions for various manufacturing industries, including turning, grinding, gear shaping and balancing.
In his role, Thompson will be supported by, and work closely with, both RINGSPANN in Franklin Park, IL, and RINGSPANN Bad Homburg, Germany, to develop business strategies, develop localized manufacturing and provide engineering support for the North American market.
Thompson brings 26 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process development and machine tool sales experience. His experience includes positions in machine tool sales, product and sales management, along with business development for companies including EMAG, DMG MORI and Mitutoyo.
