Caron Engineering Personnel Appointments

Brandon Springer

Ryan Hegman

Caron Engineering has appointed Ryan Hegman as the new VP of Sales and promoted Brandon Springer to Product Support Manager.

Hegman holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been working in the CNC machine tool industry for almost 20 years.

Hegman started with Caron Engineering in 2010 as the western regional sales manager, before being promoted to national sales manager in 2013, where he has been leading the sales force for the past seven years. "Ryan's vast sales and industry experience will be indispensable as he transitions to his latest role," said Rob Caron, President of Caron Engineering.

Hegman will be focusing on promoting sales internationally. Caron Engineering's CNC optimization products are currently sold worldwide through the product integrator, Blum Novotest, headquartered in Germany. Hegman will be the primary sales liaison for all Blum-Novotest subsidiaries.

"Our (manufacturing) customers are facing serious challenges, such as global competition, skilled workforce shortages and increasing process complexity. I am confident that the CNC optimization solutions we provide at Caron Engineering will continue to keep our existing and future customer base ahead of the competition. I look forward to supporting our international salesforce as we increase our presence in the worldwide market," said Hegman.

Springer started with Caron Engineering almost 15 years ago as a service technician, installing and integrating Caron Engineering products and training customers in the field. Through this experience, Springer has become a specialist in Caron Engineering's product line of CNC optimization products, which is instrumental as he transitions to his new role.

"Over the past 15 years, Brandon has been my go-to technician (especially) for our larger accounts, due to his superior product knowledge and professionalism with the customers. Brandon always goes above and beyond expectations and his contribution to the success of Caron Engineering has been invaluable," said Joel Tessier, VP of Operations for Caron Engineering.

As product support manager, Springer will be handling in-house product support for Caron's customers and integrators.

Additionally, he will be responsible for testing new products and features, and providing new product training for Caron service technicians, customers and integrators.
