New Metrology Software Functionalities Displayed at Exact Metrology Open House

Exact Metrology recently hosted its annual Open House at its Cincinnati, OH, location. Visitors learned about the company's new technologies and had the opportunity to attend several breakout sessions on PolyWorks software and GOM CT scanning.

Steve Young, Exact Metrology's Co-President, said, "The open house was meant to educate clients about PolyWorks software and some of the new functionalities that have just been released so they can stay up-to-date on technology they can use in their work."

Polyrix can scan an entire part in one machine. According to Young, "Polyrix is expandable and can scan a 4 part or an entire car." Furthermore, the machine projects a color map that shows any errors or deviations on the part.

Other notable technology included the Leica ATS 600. "It is one of the few scanners that can scan very shiny, dark and chrome-like surfaces," said Young.

Some of the companies in attendance were Honda, Cummins, Proctor & Gamble and Toyota.

"The open house makes it easy to see a lot of interesting technologies that would otherwise require attendees to travel to a major trade show," said Young. "We will continue to provide clients with the latest information and technology to make sure they are serviced well."

Exact Metrology is an ISO 9001:2008, AS9100, FFL and ITAR Certified Company.
