KURAKI horizontal boring mill model: KBM-11EM
As a result of a sales cooperation with KURAKI, a Japanese manufacturer of horizontal boring mills, DMG MORI has expanded its product portfolio and range of services in the U.S. market.
The joint product portfolio includes innovative CNC machine tools and high-precision and reliable horizontal boring mills. The close cooperation enables DMG MORI and KURAKI to offer integral manufacturing solutions and optimize service at the local level. In particular, customers from the areas of die and mold, energy technology and aerospace will benefit.
KURAKI sells 50% of its exports in North America, and benefits from DMG MORI's local presence via its production plant in Davis, CA, and Chicago Technical Center. The joint cooperation covers a total of 35 U.S. states as well as Canada and involves a total of 800 employees.
