COE Press Equipment Appoints New Machining Manager



COE Press Equipment has appointed Ronald Wahl as its Machining Manager, responsible for operations of the company's machine shop. As a vertically integrated company, COE designs and machines the components used in its coil processing equipment on site. Wahl is responsible for scheduling of machining jobs, purchasing of tooling and materials, quality certification and supervising the machining staff.

Wahl has over 30 years of shop floor manufacturing experience, most recently serving as operations manager of BTA Heller (Troy), a manufacturer of drilling tools and solutions. Throughout his career, he has also been a plant manager, shop supervisor, manufacturing manager, as well as owning his own company.

Wahl began his manufacturing studies in high school, gaining a diploma with a focus on machine tools and a certification from Macomb Community College in fixture design and building.
