AMT MTForecast 2019 in Cleveland, October 2-4

The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT), which represents U.S.-based providers of manufacturing technology - the advanced machinery, devices and digital equipment that U.S. manufacturing relies on to be productive, innovative and competitive - has announced that its annual MTForecast event will be held October 2-4, 2019, in Cleveland, at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. MTForecast will feature U.S. economic and machine tool business forecasts from nationally recognized economists and industry analysts including Mark Killion, CFA, Director of U.S. industries, Oxford Economics; Steve Kline, Chief Data Officer, Gardner Business Media; and Alan Beaulieu, President, ITR Economics. The conference also includes market outlooks for the aerospace, automotive, medical and oil & gas industries that review projected growth, market and technology trends, global competition and other economic data important to the machine tool industry.

"MTForecast is designed to help attendees with strategic planning through economic forecasting, analysis of relevant market data, customer industry insights and networking with peers who share similar business challenges. Forecasts by highly respected economists-drilled down to the machine tool sector-enable executives to plan more confidently for the coming year," said Chris Downs, Director, Strategic Analytics, AMT. "We expect more than 100 companies and over 200 attendees this year, representing some of the largest machine tool builders in the country."

"There is no other single conference that brings together the quality and specificity of market data relevant to the machine tool sector. Whether it is industrial production forecasts, trends in energy prices or new materials being used in the aerospace industry-machine tool companies will learn how it is likely to affect them in the next 12-24 months," said Pat McGibbon, Chief Knowledge Officer, AMT.

For the second year, MTForecast will include educational tracks in the areas of business strategy, opportunity and data. Additionally, plant tours will take place at Jergens and Fredon Corporation.
