Wedin International Inc. of Cadillac, MI, has announced the purchase of PGM Products Inc. Ball Screw Manufacturing of Warren, MI.

Wedin has reached an agreement to purchase all of the machinery and assets of PGM and relocate the total business completely to its 60,000 sq. ft. facilities in Cadillac, MI, by June 28, 2019.

Jack Rabun Jr., Vice President of Wedin, said, "This purchase is enhanced by the fact that all the manufacturing employees of PGM are relocating to the Cadillac area to work at Wedin. Their experience and manufacturing skills as well as dedication to craftsmanship only enhances further Wedin's current and future manufacturing abilities. This acquisition agreement also includes the former assets of both Modern American Ball Screw Manufacturing and PGM Ball Screw USA Mfg. companies."

"Based out of Detroit, MI, Tim has over 30 years of specific ball screw manufacturing engineering knowledge and he will be an asset for all of our customers and their product needs," said Rabun. "Tim's experience and dedication makes him a valued member of our total manufacturing team."
