Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools Inc. (KOMT) will be exhibiting at the Tulsa Industrial & Tool show April 20 - 21, 2016.
Machines on display will include a Samsung SL20 CNC lathe, YCM NXV560A-APC vertical machining center (VMC), Hydmech S-20A saw and Piranha P-65 ironworker.
The Samsung SL 20 CNC 2-axis lathe features a rigid 45° angle slant bed and integrated box ways. Turning diameter is 11.8" and turning length is 20.5". Rapids are 945 IPM on X and Z. The lathe's main spindle has a bar capacity of 2.6". The spindle nose is A2-6 and uses a standard 8" chuck (hydraulic). FANUC control comes standard on this machine with a speed of 4,000 RPM driven by a 25 HP FANUC motor.
The YCM NXV560A-APC features 22" x 16" x 17" travels, 12,000 RPM IDD, 25 HP BBT-40 taper dual contact spindle and 1,890 IPM rapids. Additional features include an automatic pallet changer and 24 station ATC.
Featuring a 13? H x 18? W capacity at 90°, 3 HP motor and 1? blade, the Hydmech S-20A is a versatile, automatic scissor style band saw designed for use in tight working spaces.
The Piranha P-65 ironworker features a variety of standard workstations, including punching, bending, bar shear, angle shear, round bar shear and an integrated coper/notcher.
The P-65 also has a dovetail slide that allows an operator to quickly switch from punching to bending. The P-65 has full electrical control of its stroke with a footswitch and limit switch stroke controls. This, coupled with urethane strippers and ample horsepower per ton, gives the P-65 a fast punching stroke.
