Laystrom Manufacturing Co. Names Colin Cosgrove President

Laystrom Manufacturing Co. has named Colin Cosgrove as its president. Cosgrove, who had been Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Laystrom, will be the fifth president of Laystrom Manufacturing Co., and the first non-family member president in its 66 year history.
"Colin brings the intelligence, experience, value systems as well as a fresh approach to the position that our customers, our associates and our shareholders will value. I will continue my full-time involvement with Laystrom as Chairman, and in engineering and financial management roles, and as the majority shareholder," said Bob Laystrom.
After emigrating from Ireland in 1994, Cosgrove's first job in the United States was as a press brake operator and set-up person. Since that time he has held various positions including roles in factory supervision, engineering, sales and operations management. Cosgrove holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwestern University.
