New Business Model for Continental Machines, Inc.
April 1, 2016
Continental Machines, Inc. (CMI), manufacturer of the DoALL Sawing Products brand of metalcutting band saws, has announced its two-year plan to transition from a manufacturing-based company to a service- and distribution-based company to better address customer demand.
The new focus allows the company to immediately expand its current product offering to include affordable band saws and provide more versatile sawing solutions to machine and fabrication shops across the globe.
"The new organizational structure is a critical step in allowing us to continue offering our customers innovative, high quality products and to be able to quickly capitalize on shifting industry trends," said Kurt Plechaty, Vice President, CMI.
CMI will increase technical support for the entire DoALL product line through its team of service and repair professionals as well as expand the availability of genuine DoALL replacement parts in its online parts store.
During the transition, CMI will offer its current line of DoALL core products while adding new sawing machine models. The new product line is scheduled to be launched at IMTS in Chicago, Sept. 12 - 17, 2016. In addition, existing models will also be on display.
