Toyoda Machinery to Host Aerospace Innovation Days
April 28, 2016Toyoda Machinery and industry partners will host Toyoda Aerospace Innovation Days on Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29 from 9 AM – 5 PM at Toyoda’s Northeast Tech Center in Shrewsbury, MA. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Toyoda’s development in aerospace manufacturing through a series of cutting demonstrations and seminars dedicated to maximize shop competitive advantage.
Featured machines:
• FH630SX-I horizontal machining center: will demonstrate milling techniques for hard metals such as titanium and Inconel for the aerospace industry
• FV1165 vertical machining center: maintains precise machining for heavy-duty cuts with long-lasting accuracy
• GL4-i50 cylindrical grinding machine: hydrostatic and hydrodynamic technology to run applications longer.
Educational seminars:
• Machining Optimization for Difficult Materials presented by Sandvik Coromant: Machining strategy and insert grade and geometry selection for heat resistant super alloy (HRSA) materials
