Sharp Precision Machine Tools Appoints Sales Manager

Sharp Precision Machine Tools has appointed Scott Johnson to Sharp Direct Sales Manager in the Minnesota / Wisconsin area. "Scott will be in charge of the entire product line of Sharp Precision Machine Tools in the Upper Midwest," said Joe Bockrath, National Sales Manager.

Previously, Johnson worked for the past eight years selling Sharp products at David Olson Sales. "With a large customer base in the area, Sharp Industries made the decision that going direct with Scott was the best way to continue servicing that customer base," said a company spokesperson. Johnson will be supplying Sharp's complete line of machinery including all manual mills, lathes, grinders, CNC 3- and 4-axis milling machines, CNC grinders, CNC Big Bore lathes and the new high precision 5-axis machines for turbine and compressor blade manufacturing.

"Our main goal is to support existing Sharp Industries customers in this region. Scott is a trusted manufacturing consultant who will deliver efficient solutions to shops in the general machining, mold and die, energy, medical and aerospace markets," Bockrath said.
