Turning Center with 4" Bar Capacity

DN Solutions will be debuting the new PUMA TT2500SYB at IMTS 2024. This newest version of DN Solutions' twin spindle, twin turret horizontal turning center features a 4" (102 mm) bar capacity to meet the requirements of manufacturers making larger high precision, complex parts such as the energy industry.

The PUMA TT Series of turning centers are designed and built for the fast processing and mass production of complex parts. The left and right spindles and the upper and lower turrets are able to operate independently to double productivity and deliver impressive simultaneous machining performance.

In addition to its 4" bar capacity on both the main and sub spindles, the new PUMA TT2500SYB features 3,000 RPM built-in drive spindles that deliver up to 35 HP each. These specifications combine with 12 stations in the upper and lower turrets to make this machine ideal for the heavy duty cutting of complex parts demanded by the energy industry such as fracking tubes, fracking mandrels, perforating guns and other components.

"The PUMA TT Series is our most fully-featured and productive collection of turning centers," said Andy McNamara, Vice President of Sales at DN Solutions America. "We previously offered TT Series machines with bar capacities of 1.65" to 3.19" (42 mm to 81 mm) and the 4" (102 mm) bar capacity of the new PUMA TT2500SYB gives our customers the opportunity to bar feed larger part applications on this highly productive turning center platform."
