Innovative CNC Lathe Chuck

Royal Products will be unveiling an innovative 3-jaw chuck for enhanced CNC lathe workholding capability. The Royal Multi-Tasking Chuck (MTC) is designed for shops that need the flexibility to quickly switch between small- and large-diameter parts, as well as OD and ID gripping.
"This new 3-jaw chuck departs from conventional designs by incorporating a Quick-Grip collet system and ID workholding system within a 3-jaw chuck, offering unmatched versatility," said a company spokesperson. "Once installed, the chuck never needs to be removed from the lathe spindle. Set-up time between jobs is reduced as the Royal MTC enables a user to quickly change between jaw work, collet work and ID work."
Royal Products will stock the MTC in three sizes: 250 mm, 320 mm and 400 mm, accepting Royal QG-65, QG-80 and QG-100 collets. The MTC's base jaws follow the 60 deg. x 1.5 mm standard, enabling utilization of a wide range of top tooling.
All Royal Multi-Tasking Chucks include the appropriate mounting plate, an internal work-stop, a central chip shield and a custom-machined drawtube connector for fast, hassle-free installation.
