The VL-100CA aerospace intelligent CNC vertical lathe, with Honor Seiki's nearly 40 years of experience in vertical lathes, aims to solve the pain points of aerospace manufacturing, like chip breaking, workpiece deformation and high blade wear.
The machining time of the VL-100CA is 25-30% less than the earliest models due its APC system, which allows the setting up of the next workpiece on an outside pallet while machining is progressing on inside pallet.
VL-100CA is equipped with high-pressure coolant up to 350 bar to solve the issue of hard-to-break chips of titanium alloys or Inconel parts and extend tool life.
Honor Seiki's exclusive and patented "Solid-lock" technology provides three times greater clamping force than BT50 toolholders and performs well in machining large-scale workpiece and hard-to-cut materials.
"With its patented APC design, outstanding ATC capacity, dynamic tool life management and real-time power usage monitoring, the VL-100CA delivers outstanding efficiency and eco-friendliness," said a spokesperson. "To achieve environmentally sustainable manufacturing goals, it is imperative to analyze how the VTL contributes to the industry. Proposing innovative technical ideas, reducing emissions, minimizing loading/unloading times, limiting waste generation and protecting resources are all critical components."
Honor offers added-value functions like thermal compensation, RFID tool life management, one-button troubleshooting, production line management and energy consumption monitoring to assist customers entering the field of smart manufacturing.
