August 1, 2024
Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS), a contract manufacturer in Detroit, MI, has announced its successful registration and approval from the Joint Certification Program (JCP). This significant milestone marks DMS's commitment to excellence in accessing Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of National Defense (DND) unclassified export controlled technical data and critical technology.
Established in 1985, the JCP was designed to facilitate U.S./Canadian contractors' access to DOD/DND unclassified export controlled technical data/critical technology on an equally favorable basis. This approval aligns with DMS's mission to enhance its capabilities and expand its offerings to better serve its customers and contribute to national security efforts.
"We are thrilled to have achieved registration and approval from the Joint Certification Program," said Scott Cieslak, Chief Commercial Officer at Detroit Manufacturing Systems. "This accomplishment reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality in serving our customers. It also positions us for greater collaboration and innovation within the defense sector."
The approval from the JCP underscores DMS's ongoing commitment to regulatory compliance, innovation and customer satisfaction. "By adhering to the rigorous standards set forth by the JCP, DMS reaffirms its position as a trusted partner in the automotive and defense industries," said a spokesperson.
